Visa Waiver Information

If you are a citizen of one of the following countries you may travel to or  through the U.S. on business or pleasure trips without a visa under the Visa Waiver Program if you will remain in the U.S. for less than 90 days and meet certain other requirements.

*The passport must be valid at least 6 months beyond your stay in the US
** Only British citizens and British subjects who have “right of abode” qualify for the Visa Waiver Program

The countries marked with # are able to travel without a visa provided they possess a e-passport and register on-line through ESTA (the Electronic System for Travel Authorization).

Your purpose of travel must be purely business or pleasure, otherwise you are not eligible to travel under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP).  

All visa waiver travelers to the United States are required to have an approved
Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) number provided by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in order to board a flight or cruise ship destined for the United States.
All ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) registrations made on or after September 08, 2010 will be subject to an ESTA registration fee of $14.00. The credit card payment will be made on-line in the course of the registration process. 
Existing ESTA registrations remain valid through their expiration date.


You may visit the Web site at https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov to complete this application and make the payment.  Please remember that the ESTA application must be completed prior to travelling to the United States.
